 Did you know that every year in the Claddagh Church they change the display on the Right hand side? During the 7 weeks of Easter and Christmas they put up a display of Jesus preaching with lots of cute little animals, but outside of the seasons they reveal an amazing statue of St. Dominic surrounded by Saints accompanied by a hound of heaven with the torch... This week I volunteered at the St. Anthony of Padua Triduum Novena in the Franciscan Abbey Church in Galway Of course I have a lot of pics .. The Area set up .. I was sitting at that table recruiting for the Secular Franciscan Order The banners (youfra is the youth branch). I remember collecting coupons in the Irish Daily Mail and the Irish Mail on Sunday to get this commemorative medal. It took weeks, and perhaps a few extra runs to the shop. But now I can look at this and remember Pope Francis in Ireland
