 I have joined the Irish Dominican Order Rosary Confraternity We are actively encouraged to join Rosary organisations and associations.  You can add multiple intentions before you say your Rosary Also, most Confraternities only ask for you to say 15 Decades of the Rosary a week However, if you pray everyday anyways you are already praying 5 x 7 = 35 which more than covers every org.

It was going to happen eventually. I know a lot of people who are in it. So, I hear about it a lot. Also, I pray the Rosary daily anyways, so it was just a matter of time. Legion of Mary. (Legio Mariæ) So this is the basic leaflet explaining the praying from home part. and below is the Miraculous Medal,  Prayer leaflets and  Maria Legionis the newsletter (The Rosary beads are my own) When you join you are on probation for three months to see if it is a good fit into your lifestyle But, as I am praying the Rosary daily for a long time now I have every confidence it will work. There is a Legion of Mary office in Galway and a Cathedral link too.

 Got my YHS plaque today... It can be YHS or IHS depending on accent, but, it is Greek for Jesus. Pretty nice ...

 Did you know that every year in the Claddagh Church they change the display on the Right hand side? During the 7 weeks of Easter and Christmas they put up a display of Jesus preaching with lots of cute little animals, but outside of the seasons they reveal an amazing statue of St. Dominic surrounded by Saints accompanied by a hound of heaven with the torch... Easter and Christmas looks like this... The rest of the year:

I Read A Course in Miracles ACIM. (Quick Book Review) It is by The Foundation for Inner Peace  (There are authors names inside but the source is divine, so that's on the cover) This edition includes the Text, Workbook for Students, Manual for Teachers. You are supposed to take 365 days exactly to read it.  (Started January 2025 - Finished mid June 2026)   I read one section at a time.  One section a day (mostly) in this order:  Text, Manual for Teachers, Clarification of Terms.  Every day I would also read a section from the Workbook for Students. Some of the sentences are complex. Some nice ideas. I know it's not in line with Church teaching but some of it was legitimately helpful spiritually Little miracles are important too.

I have signed up for:  Our Lady of Banada Prayer Association Praying to our Lady of Banada for the conversion of family members who have left the faith. The Legion of the Holy Family. Under the patronage of: The Sacred Heart of Jesus, The Immaculate Heart of Mary, The Most Chaste Heart of Joseph

Another Catholic Virtual Run He is Risen Celebrating the Resurrection It was 21km so that's 13.1 Miles There was a choice of distances... Nice image on the medal, the stone moved aside... Just in time for Easter !!!

 I have completed the St. Francis Way Virtual Challenge Cert: 503km/312 Miles I  Started November 16 2025 and  Completed March 10 2026 Running Bib: Here is the medal: Front (you can spin the middle around to see St. Francis) Back:  Notice the sparrows in the corners. And of course the ribbon: It took so long it became part of my life for five months. But it was rewarding too.

A few pictures of St. Francis Chruch on Forster Street Galway One side has an old church, but if you go to the other side there is a huge modern Church with the Stations of the Cross on the stained glass windows. (you know how to zoom-in, don't you?) Pretty impressive?  I might go back and take a pic of each frame.
