I remember collecting coupons in the Irish Daily Mail and the Irish Mail on Sunday to get this commemorative medal. It took weeks, and perhaps a few extra runs to the shop. But now I can look at this and remember Pope Francis in Ireland

Today I had my RITE OF ADMISSION into the Secular Franciscan Order in Galway. I have been learning for a year and now I am progressing in my Formation. The Rule isn't a book of rules btw It is daily prayers you're encouraged to pray and information on the Order.

(not to mention all the cute little creatures) Another shot with the cute little creatures in focus, the barrier blocks the photo a bit Then there is an old fashioned confession box, but the Dominicans call it the  Sacrament of Reconciliation  One side says 'Kneeler' I assume that means the confessor The other side says 'seat' And last, but not least, inside the door an ACTUAL Prie-Dieu (Prayer Desk) The Prie-Dieu area There was a lot more, but I didn't want to appear like a tourist or something, maybe another day...
