My Rite of Admission into the Secular Franciscan Order

Today I had my RITE OF ADMISSION into the Secular Franciscan Order in Galway. I have been learning for a year and now I am progressing in my Formation. It is the Secular Franciscan Order or Lay Franciscans. They gave me a little TAO cross and the Rule. The Rule isn't a book of rules btw It is daily prayers you're encouraged to pray and information on the Order.

Welcome to my Prie-Dieu

Welcome to my Pire-Dieu. A Pire-Dieu is a Prayer Desk in a church which is used for devotional purposes. You can kneel and pray, but it also comes with a little shelf for prayer books and other contemplative items. This is a virtual version of my shelf.  I will post my articles, letters and other Catholic activity here.  Image: Window in the Franciscan Abbey Church, Galway, Ireland.
